I hate CVS pharmacy. I think calling your home to remind you of refills is in bad taste for a multi-million dollar company. I told the CVS pharm. tech that I did not want them to call anymore and was told that she could not stop it that I would have to call corporate myself and let them know, which made me even madder.

Does this company not make enough money off its consumers that they have to call your home and bug you? In one week I counted 4 calls to my home.

Please stop calling my home!

How to stop the robo calls

Guest
CVS needs to be told that their PATRONIZING< ANNOYING prescription reminder calls are not needed by the majority of thinking people who are not suffering from dementia or similar.
I asked them last month and this one to stop using their stop number and they still bug me with their *** calls! If a person cant figure out when their prescription is running out then they need to be under the care of someone that does....

My small local pharmacy does the same for me.

I greatly appreciate the call, as I am currently taking thirteen different pills. I do not have to remember to call for refills when I get low on one, they do it for me.

Have fun getting sicker because you forget your medicines. They're doing you a HUGE favor by calling you to remind you. Or do you not care enough about your health to take medicine to keep you alive?

Actually, most of the meds are what makes one sick! You start to take just one script, and the next thing You know Your taking 4, then eventually more.

why is this? because the meds You take are poison!!!!! They cause more problems for the body, which means You need to take another pill to solve the effects of other pills. The chain reaction, just goes on, and on, and on.

Before one starts taking meds for health problems, unless it is an antibiotic, and even they sometimes can do harm to You, like Doxycycline! which I had to take for Tic Fever, which burned the *** out of my insides, not sure which done the most damage, the Tic Fever or the Doxycycline? but the Doxy. sure hurt more!

anyway, always get a second and even a third opinion from other Doctors before taking more Medications! Always go online and do research on any medications You been given by a doctor before You take it/them, as You said, that is if You care about Your health. Big Pharma is out to make the big bucks! and they will do what ever it takes to get You hooked on more of their poison.

Never trust just one person when it comes to Your health! like I said always get a second and even third opinion from other doctors.

You bet they eat up my voicemail and create a need for anti-anxiety medication.

I have the same problem, calleD AT Cvs seveal times, I'm going to change to a different company instead of being harassed forever! Bad marketing, guys at CVSD, you are ruining your business. People don't want to be harassed.

I just got a call to remind me that refills are due. I hung up and added their number to my reject list.

Any future calls from that number will be rejected so I don't have to be bothered by them.

My system plays a recorded message that says, "I'm sorry, but the number you have called is not accepting your calls. Please remove this number from your list." EVERY time they call from now on, they'll get the same message.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their comments. I am FEP and have been drafting a letter to FEHB , OPM IG and Congressional oversight concerning the telemarketing -type nuisance behavior of CVS.

I also sent them a request to cease ..they replied saying they would, but failed to do so.

I've gotten to the point where I'll just tell them that I'm not interested in what they have to say. They're pretty persistent so I just wind up hanging up.

Just ask them to "Hold the phone"... Then, lay your phone down and go about whatever you were doing.

Every once in a while, say, "Be with you in a minute.". Eventually they'll just hang up.

I cannot get English on their automatic calls... my voicemail will not connect.......and have requested corporate to stop the calls and they continue I just got another.

English should have to be to press one it is the main language used by majority and therefore should not need to press one...

It does not work on my voice mail I keep deleting but it does not go away...!!!!! Stop the automatic calls unless requested for goodness sakes.......

4 calls in a week? Try 3 calls in under 10 minutes!!!!! :(

Yet, try to call them back and no answer, even after waiting and waiting, because they are assisting other customers.

After trying and trying, I got through and they gave me another number: 1800shopcvs and you go through an automated menu to get your number taken off the auto-caller (call from the number you want removed to make it easier).

She warned me that taking it off the calling would mean I would not get a call if there was a problem with a prescription and I flat out told her, I never find out there's a problem until I come in to pick it up, so it sure won't affect me, will it?!

THANK YOU for the 1.800.SHOP.CVS phone number. I just called it today to stop them from calling my home.

The only complaint I have is that I should have been asked if I wanted to opt in in the first place. I was recently asked on a new drug if I wanted to be on the refill notice and I said no for the same reason I would have said no in the first place.

I just called the two numbers and had my phone number removed.

You cannot ask a tech and they shoud tell you. Actually, the should make it much easier to add and remove by the consumer in the first place.

I feeel so bad for all the customers at CVS these days. Its a shame that CVS is so money hungry that they fil rxs that people don't need or they no longer take.

I promise it is not our choice or preference to call people not once but at least 3 times a day. We hate it as much as you hare receiving them. We are made to call people, who cares if they want a reminder or not. Not to mention enrolling people in ready fill without their knowledge.

We are billing your insurance on the day we fill the rx, it is left in the waiting bin for 10 to 12 days and maybe even longer. You get a call it is ready and then calls every day after that until you pick it up or until we actually get time to return the rx to stock because it has not been picked up. Well guess what CVS has already been paid for that claim on the day it was filled. Suppose you actually need that medication 3 days later or whenever guess what CVS bills your insurance once again for the same medication.....its so sad....people please pay attention to what is happing here.

I work here and I really need my job but I'm ashamed that this company makes employees do this. We have to enroll at least 40% of our customers or we are at risk of loosing our jobs.....we have to call, call, call you and bug the *** out of you or we get in trouble. Please call CVS corport or whoever to report this is happing.....its unfair to customers

not to mention unfair to make their employees to make them do their dirty work and pay them pennies and double bill peoples insurances.....while all the big wigs are receiving bonus after bonus for making their employees do dirty work. Please customers of CVS pay attention to what's happing to you and your insurance.

I promise that the employees are not responsible for this we are doing wat we are told or we could loose our jobs. I just hate that this company has changed so much. I feel bad every day for doing things to customers thats just not fair.

I remember what it use to be like just go to work wait on customers help them find products and fill their medicine and call them is a problem may arise, but these days there's no time to help you or just speak and say hi.....because most of the day I am trying to call and harrass you or someone else that's already been called that day by the automated system.....who wants 4 or 5 calls a day from CVS.....or that many calls from anyone....please take this as my and my Co workers apology...we are truly sorry for bugging you and waking you up for those who work night shift....we wish we didn't have to do these things. But if we don't we may not have a job tomorrow.
