I've had similar and much worse than you had. I've caught the pharmacy in many lies as they blame the insurance company when I've already called the insurance company in advance to make sure everything is pre-authorized.

Then with controlled medication CVS alleges 3 visits a month in order to have the medication. Then call the morning the medication is due. They either don't have it in stock. Or tell me to come in at a specific time, as I get there they blame the insurance company.

Insurance company said to ask for a print-out of the alleged reason for delay. They cannot produce and then say they didn't know I was coming in even tho I called 2 hours in advance and came in at the time they told me. Every month wait over 2 months. I finally after days reach a covering District Manager who apologizes, offers a gift card.

Then go in to pick up medication to be told they no longer will fill controlled medication and again lie they called. Incompetent, unprofessional from the District Manager, Pharmacy as my cell documents no phone calls. Running out of others to blame they blame the customer. CVS tells customers to fill controlled medication from other pharmacies although FDA is trying to stop this behavior.

After being caught in several lies, then as a customer they insult and blame me without any proof at all but another easy out since its a controlled medication. Customer Relations gives out reference numbers with promises of phone calls just to get off the line. There has NEVER been any phone calls; its the customer who must spend hours trying to speak to anyone but bogus cell numbers! Customer Relations I've spent over 5 hours being given numbers to employees not on the payroll BUT there is never a supervisor above anyone.

The rude, unprofessional, lies from CVS makes you leery of receiving the correct medication since their standards of personnel is so low. I refuse to spend another penny on any CVS store products nor trust I would receive the correct medication. I believe they have customers wait for prescriptions over 1 hour even calling in advance trying to increase sales. You cannot even get anyone from corporate office to call as it's insulting, slander when complaints are made and documented lies, blaming anyone other than themselves not to even have any professional behavior to call in advance.

There is no concern about customers health when they "unable" to re-fill control medication and customers due without. Twice I've been forced to have surgery without my medication due to CVS failure to fill even when prior to due to authority/approval from the insurance company was obtained. All you will get is apology and a gift card! It's horrid behavior on behalf of CVS nor do they have any right to make slanderous statements without any proof.

Per CVS but no other pharmacy with controlled medication you must go 2 weeks in advance so they make notations of the medication; then come back 1 week in advance to order the medication; then on due date call to find out when medication will be re-filled to still wait 1 hour by a rude, unprofessional pharmacy staff. Who then blame insurance company but cannot produce the print-out of the reason for "problem"; then claim they didn't know I was coming in even tho 2 hours in advance came in on the time THEY gave - still waiting over 1 hour. Again, always the claim of a phone call but my cell documents NEVER a phone call even from the District Manager who days before offered apologies and gift card as without medication on DATE DUE now blame the customer. Customer relations gives out inactive numbers claiming to be managers, reference numbers claiming 48 hours of return calls BUT will not give anyone in Corporate the phone call to receive a call.

Although being told Mark Bastarache is the East Coast Supervisor from Corporate but they cannot give or transfer phone call nor can they give any numbers anyone from Corporate Office - not that you would expect a phone call!

After months of repeated lies, rude unprofessional behavior, I will never purchase any products from CVS but I deserve an apology from Corporate office for the insults and blame on the customer (me) due to the controlled medication and the store refuses to refill. FDA is trying to prevent patients from filling controlled medication from several pharmacies but CVS tells customers to run to several pharmacies to fill controlled medication even after 3 trips a month so they have time to order. Then CVS will blame the FDA for not allowing enough allocation to the store.

Disturbing behaviors for a pharmacy, along with making insulting allegations to the customer with additional lies. But expected since CVS ran out of people to blame as I have proof; so convenient to blame the customer!

BEWARE! CUSTOMERS NEED TO FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE STATE AND START STANDING UP AND BEING VOCAL TO STOP THE ABUSE AND INSULTS FROM CVS

Hi I'm on the opposite coast in California and the cvs pharmacy here has told me lies after lies ive come into this particular pharmacy at this very same time MANY times b4 never a major hiccup unless new pharmacist then im profiled and the pharmacy doesnt have my info anymore have to re-fill out 6 pages of *** that hasn't changed in 2 decades and now im being told THEIR system for medical is down!! I KNOW its just there's because called phone number on back of bic card this person asked me why i was having an issue after all they have triple redundancy comp system so never down for update...they tell me it IS after all a STATE agency it cant fail.....i go tell the pharmacist he tells me theres nothing i can do if he cant bill it i cant have it he then proceeds to say i can pay cash for the INHALER in the amount of 250.00!!!

When i tell him im gettimg very upset i need my inaler he just stares then walks off saying the system will be back up in about an hour!!!

HOLY CHRIST THIS LITTLE *** WITH GOD COMPLEX DOESNT GIVE 2 *** ABOUT U AND ME.....

The next morn. I return only to be told they don't understand the computers are never COMPLETLY down i had a conipsion fit unded up being escorted by local police out and off premises.

All in all CVS PHARMACIES ARE NOT AT ALL IN THE CARE BUSINESS THEY ARE IN THE REGURGITATION OF BEAURAUCRACIES AND MANDATES AND RED TAPE OF THERE OWN USELESS E-SYSTEMS.....WE ARE SORRY SIR.....YOUR *** RIGHT...YOU PEOPLE ARE ABOUT THE SORRIEST BUNCH OF IDIOTS IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! I hope its just ignorance as they could still be taught but i know its stupidity and u can't fix ***
