I don't understand why people think its the pharmacy's responsiblity to take total control of all their meds. I know its a service the company offers but corporate does not care how busy we are. They put more and more on us with less help then get mad when we are unable to do all that we need to get done daily. Doing all this leaves little time for guality customer care which I think is much more important than getting on the phone 20 times a day to call peoples doctors because they are too lazy. It amazes me that people are so willing to give up total control of being responsible for their meds and calling their doctors themselves for refills. They are like the "Stepford Wives". Like I said, I'm a pharmacy tech and I want to be in control of my own meds, not someone else doing it for me. |
| 2. Written by Sue, on 29-09-2008 22:27 Thanks Traci! I too work for CVS and it is so frustrating when customers think we're doing this just to irritate them. We try our best to anticipate how well something will sell, but we ARE only human. Also, we WILL substitute items. It amazes me that people will give themselves heart attacks over stuff like that! |
| 3. Written by Traci, on 16-05-2008 22:14 I work at a CVS...and sweetie, we can't control how quickly we sell out of an item. We are automatically sent a certain number of products when they come on sale if we don't normally carry them. We can order extras up to a point, but if it's a good sale, chances are a lot of people will come out on Sunday and Monday to buy the item. If we sell out, we sell out. We have no control over that. It would be nice if customers would realize we're just human beings too and we only have so much control over circumstances. Be upset if you must that the item is sold out, but don't be upset personally with us. |
