First complaint to CVS was for a pharmacy employee who totally ignored me when I walked up to the pharmacy counter to pick up rx. She continued to chat with co-workers and ignore me. When I asked after several minutes if anyone was working the register she rudely snarled at me "What do you want?" Seriously??? I am standing in front of the pharmacy register where you pick up scripts. What did she think I wanted??? This was typical behavior for this employee and I was tired of it so I contacted CVS corporate office and complained. Ever since then I have been harassed when going into that pharmacy. They do anything they can to get me upset and the pharmacist who is head of this pharmacy laughs about it and turns her back on the situation instead of putting a stop to it. I am going to report her to the NC pharmacy board for her unprofessional actions and because she is head of this pharmacy and at least this Medicare recipient was going to be overcharged for scripts under her watch, which I am pretty sure constitutes fraud and because a person with a disability (I am deaf) is being harassed under her watch and she laughs about it.

The pharmacist in the following letter that actually helped me is not the pharmacist that is head of this pharmacy. The pharmacist I mention in the letter below is a new pharmacist and is one of about 4 people that works in this pharmacy that acts professional. The rest of the employees who work there should be fired. I don't know what clown college they are hiring these bozo's from but they need to look elsewhere for employees.

Here is the second complaint I just sent to CVS corporate office:

"I am deaf, do not call number above. This is second email about complaints about this pharmacy. My rx called in from doctor 11/27/13. My mother called pharmacy to see if rx ready and was told rx denied by insurance and it would cost me $32 to get rx. Called again Saturday and told same thing. She got through to insurance co Sunday and was told it was not denied, CVS did not contact them. Went Sunday and pharmacist on duty contacted insurance co and rx immediately approved. She said she did not know why it was not done before and apologized. This kind of nonsense has been happening since I contacted you a couple of months ago about a pharmacy employee. Telling a disabled Medicare recipient that they have to pay more for a rx than they do constitutes fraud. If I continue to have problems I will get an attorney involved, file charges with Medicare and the DOJ. Send me an email address and I will explain other instances of harassment, not enough space given here to explain."

I went 5 days without meds I needed because CVS employees did not do their job and tried to make me pay more for a rx than I am supposed to pay through Medicare insurance. They tried to charge me $32 when I only pay a $2.65 copay. Both times they were called they said the insurance denied the rx and when they were asked to double check they came back and said it was denied. The insurance said they were never even contacted and it is a common script and is almost never denied and would have had no reason to deny it for me. The new pharmacist had it approved in less than a minute.

CVS limits the amount of details you can give on an instance on their website, which makes me think they really do not want to know about problems. They should list an alternate email address so you can send them a very detailed account of the problems.

If you're deaf how do you know she "snarled"?

I have eyes in my head. I saw the snarl on her face.

I read lips and body language and was taught to do so from the time I was 5 years old. When someone verbally snarls the look on their face completely changes, just like when they are happy or sad or any other emotion.

Verbal snarling is part of anger and in her case there was also disgust that I was interrupting her chatting. Those same emotions also change speech patterns and the way words are spoken so it is easy to detect when someone snarls.

By the way, you are not disabled. You are differently abled and obviously stuck in victim-mentality and want everyone around you to recognize just how 'disabled' you are.

We are all different.

Try focussing on the positive and strengths and move on with life. You're wasting your energy being such a grumpypusss at cvs

Ignorant comment. You know nothing about me, as I have many other medical issues that say I am disabled.

I am not in a victim mentality as I do not lay down and take abuse. I stand up for myself and take measures to correct problems, which is the whole point of contacting CVS when there is a problem. I don't need anyone to "recognize" my disabilities. They are what they are and I find ways to cope with whatever happens in life.

I cope a lot better than most "able" bodied people do because most people could not even start to handle what I have handled in life. There is no point in a pissedconsumer website if pissed consumers cannot comment about the business that pissed them off without the sad, pathetic trolls coming out. My hopes is that CVS will take problems seriously when they realize that consumers are so fed up with the problems that they display those problems on the Internet since they, like most corporations, have to consider their bottom line.

Losing customers or having legal problems due to bad employees is not something most companies want. Pathetic little troll go crawl back in your hole.

Then don't respond to trolls, simple solution again. You got trolled and you come back for more.

The saaaaaame at cvs, going back for more.

Troll la la la laaaaa la la la laaaa. Happy Holidays!

Your're extremely rude. You must be a CVS employee. They are all rude skanks.

John N Mzy

Really, now Suze3---just take your business elsewhere. CVS obviously does not care about your business and you do NOT have a right to great, polite service.

If they don't wish to provide good service, then skedaddle off to another pharmacy that appreciates your business. Stop beating a dead horse just to make a point.

Guest

You have a point, but seriously, go to a different pharmacy. Simple solution. Are you a glutton for punishment?

No I am not a glutton for punishment and changing pharmacies is not an option either. I am disabled and live on limited income and have limited means of even getting to this pharmacy, which is closest to my house.

Why should I have to change pharmacies because of some bad employees. If their employees are breaking the law by trying to overcharge on scripts or by harassing a person with a disability then those employees should be the ones to suffer, not me. You probably tell people who are bullied that they should be the ones to move instead of telling the bully to quit being a bully.

A simple solution to you may not be so simple to others in a bad situation. Walk a mile in another's shoes before you judge.

The first thing said was 'You have a point' Persue your point if you wish, all the way to court. Good, do the right thing by calling these people out.

But it was suggested to use a diff pharmacy and that is logical. You sure are a thick-headed stubborn one, sheesh

Not logical when you don't have the means to get to another pharmacy because it is too far away and would cost more than I could afford, which I stated already but apparently you didn't read that part. I am very stubborn in standing up for myself and what is right.

My stubbornness is what has helped me to survive abuse, deafness, cancer twice and many other medical and life issues. I intend to continue to be stubborn with a big grin on my face and continue to survive.

I survive a lot better than a lot of people who have no issues in life. Thanks for the compliment.

If you are not happy and feel no change is coming ....Change your pharmacy...pretty simple. I think this has gotten personal with you and you are now out to prove a point to CVS by hounding them......your hard headed...move on

I am disabled and this is the closest pharmacy to my house. I have limited income and limited means to get to a pharmacy so I do not have a lot of choice in the matter.

I am not trying to prove anything to CVS and I am not hounding CVS. If you owned a business where the employees actions were putting your business at risk would you not want to know about it. If an employee's actions constitute fraud then the company will be the one to pay the price. Employee's who are doing wrong can be given the chance to change their behavior or lose their jobs, but that does not happen unless the company is made aware of the situation.

Telling a customer that an insurance company denied their rx and trying to charge more than Medicare allows is a federal offense that CVS can be held liable for. I am quite sure CVS wants to know when an employee is committing a federal offense so they can rectify the situation.

The company should not pay the price for bad employees because no one lets them know about the bad employees. If it were my business I would want someone to let me know.

Girl, don't listen to these people that are trying to add to the bullying that u feel. I completely understand where you are coming from.

If people work for the public, they should know how to act. I hate rude, uncompassionate people. Especially in a drug store. There's no place for ignorance.

I think if the employees continue to give u a hard time,u should take it one step further. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YOU.

Agreed. Cvs is rude.

They treat customers like drug addicts. They lie to you, they behave unprofessional and they should be held accountable. After reporting a pharmacist for lying to me and being rude, I've been harassed at every encounter. All the employees are rude and they will cancel refills on my anti psychotics claiming the refill number wasn't fully circled etc (moments after they tell niger on the phone to come pick it up) terrible...

I switched to Walgreens and was blown away with how polite they were.

Problem is my new insurance only covers cvs. I went back to cvs 20 minutes ago and surprise surprise back to rudeness and downright hateful attitude right off the bat.
