CVS Pharmacy - Shortchanged In Pills
I had a major surgery two months ago that left me still feeling pain some time later. Sharp pains that kept me down hassled me for several days until I went to the doctor who prescribed Norco (Hydrocodone Acetaminophen) for the pain.
She prescribed 40 pills and it took about an hour for the prescription to be filled and when I received it, I thought it looked a little less than the 40 I was supposed to receive. I didn't pay any mind but then I realized when I was taking my medicine, I was shortchanged by at least ten pills. This CVS has had a bit of a grudge with my father by refusing to fill his prescription because the pharmacist thought he was having too much medicine even though the doctor prescribed it himself.
I have no idea if they're running out of the medicine, counting it wrong, hoarding the supply, or taking it themselves. Whatever the case, they need to get their act together and not only stop shortchanging medications but acting like they know more than the doctors prescribing the medicines.

They have no idea the person's situation..you pharmacists take it upon themselves to judge people without knowing what they are going thru. God complex and it disgusts me to no end!!
I have had the same happen to me numerous times with my norco and especially my soma meds..They are the worst!!
Pharmacists have the right/duty to deny the filling of any prescription if they think said person is getting to much of certain meds. Whether the doctors prescribed it or not.
