Very unprofessional, and racial profiling

went into store tonight in titusville, fl. as soon as i walked in, a worker followed me around the store. i went to the cookies area where she stood there watching me instead of the white customer on same aisle. then, watched me as i went to counter. 'wow'. as i stood at counter to check out a worker asked if i needed help, rudely she asked. a black lady came from another area to assist me at check out counter. i left the store without incident. as badly as i wanted to say something, i didn't. that store sucks, i've heard folks complain how workers in the store racial profile black customers. wish i could sue the store for how unprofessional some workers are. i'm pissed.....

CVS weight discrimination

I just heard on the news about CVS new employment requirements. What is wrong with you and this world !!!!!! I will no longer shop or get my prescriptions filled at cvs. If you discriminate against employees when will you start weighing customers. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. This is one of the worst forms of discrimination. No wonder people have eating disorders. I suggest corporate take care of themselves. Is your weight and BMI where it should be? Do any of you smoke? I suggest you take a look in the mirror. Sharon Newby

This due to the idiots that voted for Obama. This is part of his wonderful Obamacare, its just some companies are starting early and others raising rate and then giving breaks when info is gathered. You got what you voted for Obama idiots.

ADHD Drugs

I just went to CVS to pick up my daughter's medication. I was told by the pharmacist that it could not be released to me because they do not have her SSN on file. She is 10. SSN number's are not to be used for identification, I had my driver's license and shop there frequently. The state has removed all SSN from DL because it is not supposed to be as ID. This is a corp rule that is unnecessary. I generally fill this prescription at another store, and have not encountered this issue before. I now have to go home and go through the paper work to get this information. I should be working instead, but she needs the med tomorrow.

Do they ask for your ss number? The only reason we would ask for that is if we have to call Medicaid because the pt doesn't have their card.

So if they don't want to give it to me I would tell them they have to pay for it. Is that why they needed it?

If so you need to complain to your state for using it to identify your kid not the pharmacy. Or better yet carry your free tax payer paid ins card with you and don't lose it.

Guest

We get a lot of customers that come to us with complaints about CVS. We have gained a great deal of customers because of this same issue.

We only ask for the date of birth and address to confirm their identity. You are justified in being annoyed with CVS.

Let CVS keep the medication and go to the pharmacy you normally go to your daughter will be fine without one or two days of the ADHD medication. SSN cards should never be carried around and should never be used as identification a SSN should be guarded and not given out especially in a public forum and not kept on file by any pharmacy.

C II scripts and an attitude?? I wouldn't fill it for you either.

Just a thought....

For every customer who thinks your pharmacy/pharmacist is incompetent and or sucks-Here's a thought...go elsewhere. I don't understand why customers who "hate that pharmacy so much" continue to make appearances. That little feeling you get of no one wanting you there isn't just a coincidence, it's a well known fact. Calling me every month and reminding me of how we shorted you 3 tablets of Atenolol back in 06' isn't helping your case on not being "that" customer. Another thing...we're not ignoring you, we know you're there (we're not deaf, we hear you grunting loudly at the counter waiting sooo patiently to get our attention), however we're trying to be discreet with our rock paper scissors game to decide on who's the lucky b*stard that gets to service you. You dislike me, guess what? I don't like you or your attitude either. Only difference is I'm getting paid while doing it. So be respectful of me and I'll be respectful of you. You don't like us or our *** service"-that's fine. Think we're all a bunch of complete morons-no problem. You are entitled to your opinion as the p*ssed off consumer. It's not my fault that it's raining, or that you got jock itch for not showering at the gym...so please, do to others as they do to you, and stop with the threats of "going elsewhere", I'm tired of being disappointed.

We always used walgreens and were very happy with them for many years and especially during my cancer treatment. Now retired the government swys I have to pick a pdp drug insurance.

I went to walgrens and they heed us pico a plan that showed we cpuld still go to walgreens. Only cvs owned the plan and changed the rulrs after we signed and now they say we can only go to cvs.

We are stuck until next year. THAT IS WHY WE GP TO THE *** CVS!!!!!!!!!!

People do this and then get pissed when I check every price when they say it's not right, which 99% of the time it is right, but they think if they say it's wrong, I'll just give them the item for the price they want. This happens everyday, so I never take the customers word for it.

Everyone make mistakes in punching in codes into the computer or punched in the WRONG INSURANCE ID #, thus it comes back as you pay more than you should. It happened to me. When I went to pick up my insulin, CVS said, $250, I said what? Are you kidding? I said, what tier is the insulin, the pharmacist couldnt answer, all she said was, that's what your insurance card says, and that's what you're paying. I told her I guess I won't taking it then, then she saw I was holding my insurance card and asked for it. She punched it again, then says..ohh sorry, punched the wrong card, that was someone elses card. Really? someone's card under my prescription? How is that? OH YEAHHHH PHARMACISTS don't make mistakes in punching in INFORMATION.

Pharmacists forget, w/o ill people, you wouldn't have a job, so continue with your *** attitude and see who will be OUT OF A JOB. Afer all, we get to choose WHICH PHARMACY we go to, not just your location, when your pharmacy is slow you get laid off. There you go, keep up the attitude. We're not all in *** mood, just when we have to pay $250 for a 25 copay. LOL.

YUP I changed to mail order so I don't have to deal w PEOPLE, and the more people go to mail order, pretty soon, RETAIL pharmacists will be out of a job LOL.

Listen dude, prescriptions are filled in the order that they are received. If your prescription was number 18 in line, then your script would be number 18 to be filled.

Its jerks like u, who think u are entitled, that make it so difficult to work there. YOU are NOT the only patient we have to fill medication for. The majority of our stores have to fill about 700-**** scripts a day. Quit your ***!ng and go to another pharmacy, we dont want u here anyway.

Poor Customer Service

Updated by user Apr 21, 2013

Sorry, I meant I got the email from Pissed Consumer to update!

Updated by user Apr 21, 2013

Just got an email from CVS to update my info. CVS told me they rejected my review because they were only interested in my comments about the product, not the shipping.

Well why would they ask me about my experience with their shipping? LOL! Total lack of responsibility!

Just confirms my stance. I'll never buy from them again.

Original review Mar 21, 2013
First they shipped my order Parcel Post which takes forever to Hawaii. Then they asked me to review my experience. I told them it was terrible and I could never recommend them. Then they sent me an email saying my review was rejected since it didn't meet their guidelines. LOL! Are you kidding me? What guidelines? Like because it wasn't positive feedback? What a bunch of *** Total hypocrites. They claim they're interested in their customers. NOT! No reply to my last email in which I told them I'd never buy from CVS online or from any CVS store again.

Never Trust CVS

I will never ever do business with CVS again in any way shape or form! Yesterday I went into CVS after receiving their call that my prescriptions were ready for pick up (automatic refill program) As usual there was an issue. I was given one prescription instead of 3 and they gave me ProAir instead of Proventil which I found out when I got home. They informed me they would contact my doctor for the renewal of the two other medications. Mind you now, I'm an asthmatic. I went back in this morning to pick up my Advair & Singular (now generic) after they neglected to call my doctor for renewal automatically like they were supposed to yesterday, which happens on a regular basis. Every 3 months I complain about it. Prior to that I had called my doctor and advised what happened with the negative reaction after using ProAir and asked why Proventil (rescue inhaler) was not prescribed. I was informed Proventil was prescribed the beginning of August with 3 refills. I advised the pharmacist of this and he promptly informed me my insurance would no longer cover Proventil. I went home and called my insurance company I was informed they still cover Proventil, Aug 3 CVS queried their computer and they were advised it was covered and the cost was $40 co-pay. It was later cancelled by CVS and ProAir was entered. So basically when all is said & done...CVS lied to me, they probably didn't have Proventil in stock and took it upon themselves to replace it with ProAir because both contain Albuterol, without informing me. The way I look at it is they committed fraud, I never gave them permission to substitute inhalers.

Proventil and Proair are the same thing honey. Unless your doctor wrong DAW1 (dispense as written) then we fill with the appropriate generic.

If we are out of one, we will fill with another of the same generic. We have no way of knowing what your insurance pays for unless and until we run it. We fill literally thousands of scripts. There is no way to remember your insurance requirements off the top of our head.

Now, contacting your doctor for refills is a COURTESY.

We are in NO WAY whatsoever obligated to do so. He is YOUR doctor.

It is YOUR responsibility to get your own refills. We will fax a request at our convenience.

One can no longer sue for injury caused by generics. Big pharma ha a reason they want you to believe generics are the same.

VENTOLIN HFA (albuterol sulfate inhalation aerosol) is intended for oral inhalation only. Each unit contains a microcrystalline suspension of albuterol sulfate in propellant HFA-134a (1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane).

It contains no other excipients.

ProAir HFA

is for oral inhalation only. It contains a microcrystalline suspension of albuterol sulfate in propellant HFA-134a (1, 1, 1, 2-tetrafluoroethane) and ethanol.

Proventil HFA Inhalation Aerosol is a pressurized metered-dose aerosol unit for oral inhalation. It contains a microcrystalline suspension of albuterol sulfate in propellant HFA-134a (1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane), ethanol, and oleic acid.

Note the Ethanol included in Proair and Preventil. Ethanol has been proven to constrict the lungs.

When you're using albuterol sulfate totreat bronchial asthma. Why would you want to inhale ethanol that would constrict your breathing?

Ventolin contains no additional propellant to provide albuterol sulfate. Treating bronchial asthma without constricting the lungs.

I have also researched the side effect occurrences of all three medications. Ventolin have far less reports of side effects.

Guest

CVS customer service is what you find in a third world country. They have a long way to go, service-wise.

One of their pharmacists basically told me to take a hike when I complained at the store on Gessner and Airport, Houston, Tx. Wish the management would step up the service there.

Guest

proair, proventil, and ventolin are ALL THE SAME...INTERCHANGEABLE!! When your doctor signs the script, unless it says NO SUBSTITUTION, we are allowed, and sometimes required, by law to interchange the generics.

I live in Massachusetts, and we are required by state law to dispense the generic when one is available. It doesnt matter what the customer wants. The only way we can dispense the brand name drug is if 1. There is no generic available, or 2.

the doctor states NO SUBSTITUTION on the prescription.

IF U DONT WANT TO SAVE MONEY-SO BE IT...BUT AS FAR AS ONE NOT WORKING FOR U AND THE OTHER ONE WORKING...ITS BULL, CUZ THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME PRODUCTS!!

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-548688

Proair is not the same as ventolin. Look at the propellant.

Ventolin is the only albuterol rescue inhaler not using ethanol. Ethanol has been proven to constrict the lungs, counteracting the benefit of albuterol. Maybe next time you'll do research before assuming you know something. When you have asthma you research facts.

Both proven by medical trials. And claims made by the drug companies.

Both seem to contradictory to the real effect of albuterol and different suspensions or propellants. So next time you can't breath go inhale gasoline and tell me if it improved your lung function...

Guest

I had a good laugh when you said they committed fraud by substituting inhalers. It's perfectly logical to substitute proair for ventolin or proventil as all 3 contain albuterol and there's no major difference between them. Maybe your doctor shouldn't have signed the substitution permitted line, he/she's the one who actually caused this problem for you.

Guest

Lot of independent pharmacies takes personal care for you. They also do free deliveries.. You dont have to put up with cvs

Guest

proair proventil and ventolin are all the same

Guest

ALL chains will automatically substitute your prescriptions from Brand to generic, this is meant to save you, the patient, (also CVS and the insurance company) money. It is NOT fraud.

Now if you requested Brand, the pharmacist will be more than happy to fill for Brand Proventil. A point to keep in mind, the computer system that CVS uses always try to autosubstitute for generic everytime a patient refills a prescription, so if the pharmacist or team does not remember that you requested Brand 30 days ago, and the computer auto-changed it to generic, your prescription will be filled as generic. As the patient, please help your pharmacist serve you better, be mindful of what you pick up and pay for. An average CVS pharmacy can fill 200 scripts a day, times 30 days...that's about 6000 scripts since they last filled your first Proventil...

Do you think you would remember?? Pharmacists are human too.

RIP OFF

I have my prescription filled at CVS pharmacy in spring hill florida, corner of mariner and spring hill dr. Because I was trying to save money on my insulin, I called my insurance company about the mail order prescription through Express Script. That's when I found out that the LANCET is FREE for me but CVS charged me for 2 months in a row. When I called to let them know why did I get charge, they say we can reimburse you. When I got to their store, they're giving me their *** MONEY CARD that I have to spend at their STORE. On top of that, they're only giving me back 1 MONTH charge when they charged me 2 months because I had no receipt. I refused to take the card because they already had my CASH, and they refused to give me back my CASH unless I had the receipt. Mind you, they made the mistake of CHARGING me for a prescription that should have been FREE to begin with. When pharmacy sends out your prescriptions, they are done by CODES, and apparently, they're trying to rip off customers that they think don't know their co-payment. I'm filing a formal complaint against CVS pharmacy for ripping off customers on prescriptions.

You have to wonder how many they've been charging and they charged me $12.75 per prescription. Now multiply that with over a million customers that have diabetes and being charged for something that should be FREE. Now you see why CVS pharmacy is taking over a lot of pharmacy stores throughout the U.S. and they continue to be rich while the rest of us are being ripped off over FREE drug.

When I called Express Script, my cholesterol pills is only $10.00 for 3 months refill, and I get charge $8.00/month at CVS, how much are they making off that drug? If Express Script can charge a three month supply for $2 more than a month supply, why in the world can CVS charge $8.00/month?

If I didn't call EXPRESS SCRIPT about having my diabetes supplies mailed to me, I would have never found out that my lancet were free and they would have continued to charge me $12.75 refill.

CVS you suck and you're a rip off. I will never go to CVS again, I don't care which location. I will also continue to have them AUTO REFILL my prescriptions and never pick it up, and will NOT answer their *** message.

Not sorry for you, there is too many lazy people in this country with insurance and the fact that it took you 2 months to question the price isn't surprising....by the way we dont dictate prices we bill your insurance they are forcing u to go mail order if u go retail your insurance makes u pay more we do not dictate prices.......

Guest

In reading these posts I think I've got it figured out. Cvs filled your rx for one touch system, test strips, and lancets.

But the lancets were another brand (not one touch) or was it one touch but not delica? If that's the case they did nothing wrong. How are they suppose to know your ins. gives you the delica kind free and not the one touch blue free.

YOU didn't even know and it's your insurance. I would take the $12 card and thank them for the refund. They didn't have to refund you the $ because of your ignorance. Don't even say they should know because there are 1,000's of insurances out there and your express scripts and another persons express scripts are totally different.

It is your responsibility to find out what your ins. covers and doesn't. You get a booklet every year with all that info in it, but you choose not to and then get your panties in a wad when something doesn't go just right. I don't think I would be burning bridges with CVS just yet, because there will be a day you need a med now (antibiotics, pain pill) and you will NEED your local pharmacy.

Also you just wait until that mail order doesn't send your meds in time.

Where do you think you'll be then. At that same counter begging for them to help you, and I'm sure they will because that's why they're there.

First of all, if you didn't understand what I said, ASK, don't assume. Second of all, they were the one that gave me the GLOCUMETER so don't you think they should know which lancet I should get?

Third of all, if they coded the prescription right the first time, they would have known that I had no co-pay on that particular prescription. GET YOUR FACTS straight before calling me IGNORANT.

Have you ever wondered how they give all those coupons and stay in business? Hint: Walmart charges half as much for shampoo, and meijer charges $1 for pop ALL THE TIME! Before you get all excited about how much money you "saved" look at how much money you SPENT!

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-614497

what exactly was the name of the lancet they originally dispensed to you?

Andrea Ahw

You misunderstood ESI. When you fill at the local pharmacy with your Express Script insurance, you pay the copay that ESI gives CVS, which is what you have paid, even for the lancets. ONLY, I repeat ONLY when you use ESI MAIL ORDER do you get additional discounts. ESI should have made that very clear. Your lancets are free ONLY if you allow the mail order service to fill the script.

Now, something ESI should have told you is that with some medications, you can only fill up to 3 times at the local pharmacy, after that you HAVE to fill the next ones with mail order.

CVS will have absolutely NO CONTROL over what ESI does. If you change pharmacies and use your ESI insurance, the EXACT SAME THING will happen.

LadyScot:

That is not true, the LANCET IS FREE, I have no co-payment on the LANCET pure and simple. CVS made that mistake in charging me and if I didn't find out that LANCET has no copayment, they would have continued to charge the lancet 12.75 every month.

Express Scripts has nothing to do with it, and yes, you do get extra discount if you do mail-order, that's besides the point. Drugs are according to your COPAY, and should be FOLLOWED as such, not whatever the pharmavy feels like using to code your drugs, so if they use the wrong code to fill your prescription, then you pay according to the co-pay.

That just means that CVS coded the LANCET wrong, that's how I end up paying a copay. If Express Scripts came back as FREE, then CVS should have gotten it back FREE from the insurance.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-598704

I'm a little confused here. You keep saying LANCET..a lancet is something you use to *** your finger to obtain blood for glucose readings.

LANTUS is insulin, which you stated you were trying to fill. So which one is it? Another thing...wtf is a code?? You said "code pharmacy" and "code prescription"...I've never heard of those codes before.

In fact, the only code I've ever used in pharmacy was a "diagnoses code". I have a feeling you may not understand how this whole insurance thing works, nor do you want anyone to explain it to you.

Drunk employees at cvs

I frequent this location , and many other cvs location for a long time.. This particular one has a big problem for its consumers. the empoyees drink while working.I saw one manager filling up a cup with beer while her co-worker smiled and said" you kno i have mine", which happened to b in a thermous.. It is very unsettling to think someone working in a establishment, let alone a franchise pharmacy has this goin on.. They both smelled like alcohol and were very rude.. One of the employees always is cursing and i hope thats due to the drinking.. I choose not to use this store anymore due to the fact that whoever is in charge is probably drunk as well to be so blind as to whats going on in front of his eyes.. For the sake of the good cvs employees out there , i hope this does not affect anyone in a bad way, one of the employees does work in the pharmacy and thats a scary thought to think people that are in charge of your medication are drinking while at work and laughing about it with the manager. I used to get my childrens percriptions filled at this location.. Ty, a worried consumer..

Poor Customer Service

Today, my son and I went to CVS to pick up his prescription. (he has strep throat and a double ear infection) We arrived (5:00pm) at the drive thru and give the tech my information and insurance card. The pharmacy tech told me it would be a 15 minute wait at the drive thru because the computers were down. She asked me to come inside the store and kept my insurance card. (but they were able to help the next customer behind me...go figure) My son and I went into the store and waited for the insurance information to be entered. Finally, the prescription was ready but they failed to give me back the insurance card. I spoke with the tech and she claimed she gave it back to me with my cash. I paid with a debit card. I spoke with the manager of the pharmacy and she just repeated everything the tech said. I think they gave my insurance card to the customer behind me in the drive thru! I'm PISEED! The manager and the tech's was rude and did not even attempt to help me with the situation at all. They were too busy talking about their favorite movies, laughing and making jokes to keep track of my insurance card. I will NEVER go there again. 4715 Walmsley Blvd. Richmond Va..... Avoid this CVS

Wrong Prescription/Dosage

When I transferred my prescription to this pharmacy they said they "couldn't tell" the correct dosage amount. They had put the correct label on the bottle at first but then put the wrong dosage label over it.

I didn't notice this until the next morning when I called the pharmacy. The pharmacist called the old pharmacy to find out the correct dosage amount and she told me to take 5 more pills to equal the correct dosage I'm supposed to take (125). That night I went back to CVS and got the correct pills. The next morning when I took the correct pills I noticed they looked the same as the incorrect pills I had received.

When I looked at the pills I saw they had the same number on them so really I had received the correct pills in the first place but the label was wrong, so instead of taking 125 mg the day before I had really taken 625mg! How does someone drop the ball on this?!? If they were unsure about the medication dosage they should have asked me. NOW, they have to call my doctor and find out if I need to get any testing done since I bombarded my body with an overdose of drugs.

I am now transferring my prescription to the Target up the street.

Tonight I will being going to CVS to show them the different bottles they gave me and find out WHO wrongfully filled my prescriptions. This is completely unacceptable, someone really could get hurt and the technician should be fired!

The same thing happened today with my 86 yr old mom and one of her major heart medication.Thank God my Mom realized the pills looked different. So, I called the cvs and the pharmacist gave me excuse after excuse on the phone as to why it happened..unbelievable.

She should be FIRED.I am switching pharmacy first think in the morning...STAY AWAY FROM CVS.

Guest

I also received the wrong prescription once via the CVS drive through service. Clerk was very cavalier until I mentioned that this is the

kind of thing that consumers report to their local consumer affairs watchdogs at the local TV stations.

Guest

Who enters the script into the system? GF just got OD'd on her script because whomever entered the info into the system erroneously entered 3X the dosage.

Low and behold it was a CVS pharmacy. We are taking this issue up their chain as she is still feeling ill from the OD several days later.

Guest

CVS filled a prescription for Nasonex nasel spray that say to spray in mouth! Calling corporate tomorrow to complain.

The local CVS said "sorry". Unacceptable!

Guest

I am truly sorry that u got the wrong medication. I don't blame you what so ever for being upset about this matter.

But you need to take back your comment about the tech. As a tech myself for 16 years I take offence to that comment. Maybe you don't understand who is responsible for what. A tech is paid very little to work very hard and a phar is paid very good to work very little, but it is not the techs fault if you received the wrong dose it is the phar fault.

That's why they make much more money than a tech. They have the last say about what's in your bottle and they verify that everything is correct before it is handed to the customer. Please think before you speak and you should be ashamed wishing the tech be fired. If you don't know facts you really should not speak and you definatly didn't know the facts here.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Put the blame where it should be.

Guest

Did you forget who checks the prescription? It's the pharmacist if anything it's the pharmacist that should be in trouble not the technician

Guest

I HAD SAME ISSUE WITH CVS PHARMACY! THEY GAVE ME WRONG DOSAGE AND INSTEAD OF FEELING SORRY FOR WHAT THEY DID, THEY SEEMED LIKE THEY DO NOT CARE.

I TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER PHARMACY, TOO.

I WOULD NOT SUGGEST CVS TO ANYONE.

Prescriptions!

I am very disappointed at CVS Pharmacy staff!! If You have any other choice to go to another pharmacy I would strongly suggest You to go. Staff at this Pharmacy is not helpful at all and they all have rude attitude. From my personal experience, they mixed different medications with different dosage in same container. They forget things that are important to patients such are ordering medications and when you try to explain to them how medication is important and if they can find any way to get it on time, they do not care. I am sorry to say this but those pharmacists seem like they are there only to get their paychecks and go. I AM TRANSFERRING TO ANOTHER PHARMACY AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CVS TO ANYONE. I waste so much time with this pharmacy and since there are many other pharmacy I will go somewhere where they will treat me with respect and pharmacist that take they job with more responsibility. This pharmacy will make more harm to you and your health than help!!

who's to say you didn't dump two different pills in the same bottle. we had a lady bring in a rx bottle with 2 different pills in it freaking out that we did it.

turns out one of them was tylenol pm. really? do you think that's a drug we even have behind the counter in the pharmacy? she was trying to say we have put 5 of those in there instead of her ambien.

In order to get 5 more ambien. trust me we've seen it all and because of that it's going to take more than a pic to prove your point.

Guest

Listen to LadyScot and be quiet!

Well, I can post a pictures of mixed medications in bottle, so that you can see how "pharmacy" staff did great job. With your response you are just showing your nasty attitude.

Nobody wants fast food service at the pharmacy, but too many mistakes in a short time period is not acceptable.

I HOPE SOMEBODY WILL MAKE CHANGES IN CVS PHARMACY, THERE ARE TOO MANY COMPLAINTS.BELIEVE ME LAST THING SICK PEOPLE NEED OR WANT TO DO IS TO COMPLAIN. BUT, ONCE WE START COMPLAIN IN THIS CONDITION YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW BAD IT IS.

What you call 'mixed' medications in the same bottle were probably 2 generics of the same brand to complete the order. Every brand with a fillable generic is available from multiple manufacturers. So when you see two different pills, before you freak out and accuse them of negligence, ASK them, or go to drugs.com and look it up.

Do you think only one pharmaceutical makes every single medication and it's generic? Once a drug's patent runs out, any pharmaceutical can manufacture a generic equivalent. They may look different, but they are equivalent.

People never ASK. They ALWAYS accuse without fact. That *** annoys me. Do you really think a pharmacist is going to risk prison for you? Do you think we have no clue what the *** we are doing? Our job can get us put in prison for Christ's sake. Jesus. Use the brain God gave you.

Why are you trying to protect someones work, when you have no idea what is going on. For your information mixed medications were not 2 genetics of same brand as you said.

Some people do not pay attention to what they are doing, I worn them only, but when I see the way "pharmacist" react and treat their customers I wish I did something at that time.

BUT, IT'S NEVER TOO LATE.

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR SUCH A THING!

Andrea Ahw
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-615054

Why? Because there are so many *** security measures in place it is *** near impossible for us to *** up.

Again, NO ONE is going to rick prison by killing you.

And if you know for a fact the two pills were not the same, then what the *** were they? You have no idea what you are talking about.

Andrea Ahw

Bullspit. Only one medication per bottle. No way to confuse that. You do not have to tell us your medication is important. We are pharmacy staff, not floor sweepers. We do not have a time limit, so there is no 'getting it on time'.

There is more to filling a script than pulling a bottle off the shelf and slapping your name on it. When we tell it it may be an hour, it may be less or more. But we are not back there twiddling our thumbs or watching tv. We are working on yours and all the other people ahead of you to get your meds filled.

People with your get it now attitude need to remember something. WE are a pharmacy, NOT a fast food restaurant.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Andrea Ahw

Agreed. And we treat every medication as if it were important.

We understand patients are sick or have a condition they need to treat.

Pharmacists go through so much school in order to earn their degree. Please don't patronize them.

Telephone calls made to me

I have not been a patient, customer of CVS in a year now as I think they have *** pharmacy reps. I have received two phone calls from CVS that I have prescriptions ready when I know I do not.

I called the store right away. The rep told me it was advertising for allergy medications since it is the allergy season.... again?? My prescription was never about allergy's in the first place but for anxiety!

I want to put CVS on the DO NOT CALL list...

whereever that is to be found. I will not do business with CVS and I do not appreciate telephone soliciting!

The best thing to do, when wanting a store to stop calling you, is to bltch about it on the internet like a whiny c[]nt.

Guest

Yea CVS's robo-calls to fill quotas. That's whats going on they do the robo-call to fill quotas. The allergy season *** is a quota CVS makes mandatory for all employees to fulfill. It happens every single year along with other quota-filling ***.

Them leaving robo-calls I would have blocked them too. It's one thing if a customer is interested in a product but CVS robo-calls and goes down a list of previous customers to see if they can fill a quota. That's about it. It's annoying defiantly for the customers and for employees it emphasized as mandatory to fill X amount of quotas as it affects their jobs. If they the customer don't want prescription fulfilled then they don't want it fulfill.

I think it's entirely *** CVS tries to make these email/allergy season quotas mandatory now. It's why all the robo-calls are going on because CVS makes it a mandatory hassle to get X amount of prescriptions from customers a DAY. And it's ridiculous CVS has a score-sheet where a single store must have all 5 all the time or its not good. On a scale of 1-5. It's ridiculous that even a 4 isn't good enough. :/

Guest

Customers can call 1-86*-***-**** to opt out of refill reminder calls.

Ebon Krr

Does anyone know how to get the number or whatever for the Do Not Call list?

thank you Chris! I called CVS with the number you left here for me.

It was not the Do Not Call list but right thru to a CVS. Again I told them to not call my number regarding automated phone soliciting. Of course the person said my number has been removed.

We shall see! Thanks again Chris :)

CVS Incompetence

My physician called CVS to renew one of my prescriptions last Wednesday. I have been purchasing this medication for years from this pharmacy. I called the CVS pharmacy in 3535 Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor, MI on Thursday morning to see if the prescription was ready, but the automated answering system placed me on continuous hold. I finally hung up after 20 minutes. Friday, I tried again and was once again placed on continuous hold, after about 20 minutes someone at CVS picked up, asked if I could hold a few more minutes, I said yes, then after waiting about 10 more minutes, I was disconnected. I called the CVS store again, but this time to the general number to complain, and the person who picked up the phone said he would relay the information to the pharmacist's attention and would have them call me back. No one ever called back. Finally, I drove to the CVS to pick up the prescription, and they stated they have no record of a prescription ordered by my physician. I showed them the documentation that he had ordered the prescription, they seemed confused and offered no resolution. I finally insisted they call him to figure out what was wrong. After some negotiation, they said they would call me later in the day if they could called the physician. Finally, late in the day they called me back. It took numerous calls, two road trips, and a lot of negotiation, to pick-up a simple order. In the past I have had similar problems with this same CVS pharmacy, such as not having the prescription ready when promised at time of pick-up, because they did not have sufficient inventory to fill the script. Think they could call me before i made a special trip to pick-up a partially filled order. My solution is to stop doing business here and take my prescriptions elsewhere to be filled. I would imagine many other people experience the same behavior at this pharmacy. I will no longer give them the privilege to test my patience, waste my time, prove their incompetence, and garner my business.

If they do not have it, then that means your doctor lied to you. We hear it all the time.

"My doctor called it in" only to realize a few days later that the doctor did not in fact call it in or that he called it to another location.

WE CAN NOT FILL ORDERS WE DO NOT HAVE. No matter how long you have had the medication.

Ladyscot, did yu miss the part where she said she had the proof f the Rx order in hand to show the pharmacist? Im having the same issue in Westfield NY 14787 or 14878?

Its 12-13 miles away in a different town but all CVS are the same! Been thru this with other CVS in past and THANKS to OBAMACARE, I am forced to use CVS or pay an additinal $1200+ to go to RITE-AID who has never, ever not had any of my 17 Rxs in 18 years. (Transplant cocktails) I left my neighborhood CVS around 1987 for this exact reason. It was in Dunkirk NY 14048 that was literally 3 blocks from my old house to use Rite Aid a few, like 4 or 5 miles away and wish I could afford to return to them.

My ex worked for CVS a few years in pharmacy when we lived near the Dunkirk store. She said they gab aloud about people by name and their powerful psycoactive and or pain meds they take. Super unprofessional! Its just the way it is at CVS.

Here, there and everywhere. My Rx is electronicly faxes to pharmacy a week before fill date and they wont have it today, Its refill date. 2nd time in 2015 and it just turned May.

They cant even give partial fills or wont or cant figure when they running low and to start giving partials. INCOMPETENT

You do not get an RX number until the script is completed. So she did not have an RX number in hand.

Doctors would not have that information in the first place.

The only thing she could possibly have is a fax print out from the originating fax machine which only states they sent a fax, not that the receiver got one.

They can not fill a script they do not get.

To the brilliant CVS Tech that commented on 11/23/12. Your ridiculous comments just go to prove the level of your bias and incompetence.

You're handling patients prescriptions? With your comments I wouldn't recommend you to tend sheep in Tibet.

This is who they hire at CVS? :?
