Grrr...you go to the local CVS pharmacy and turn in your prescription. You are ailing to begin with. They ask for your telephone number. Flash forward months down the road...when you have not gone in to get your prescription renewed, THEY CALL YOU UP!

I have told them numerous times...I will come in to get a refill when the prescription is exhausted! Not until then. I am of sound mind, know when my prescriptions are about to run out. I think I should also be capable of calling to refill them.

Please dont call me for the 1005th time! When you wake me up from my much needed sleep...you are just inviting me to come in for another prescription...a sleeping pill. And quite frankly I am not falling for your bottom line sales quota pitch. Sick of it! Quit calling...and btw...change my number on file to...1-000-****. Got it???

Someone, the Att. General ?

should look into this harassment by CVS. I too had have the same problem with CVS calling me multiple times in one day and continuing until I answer the robot calls.

At this point, I HATE CVS and will NEVER EVER again get a prescription filled there. GOOD BYE YOU HARASSING BLEEP *@#% OF A COMPANY!

I've opted out online; I've opted out at the store level, and I've opted out using their 800 number. I've put their number on my reject list.

They still call from different numbers!

Today I got three robocalls from them. WTF!!!

My problem is them repeatedly calling (today, it was 3 times in a matter of minutes while trying to find out if my elderly mother felt well enough to go to the store) to tell me my prescrition is ready to pick up. I know it is ready, I am the one who put it in for a refill and set the pick up time.

I do not need repeatedly harassed, minutes apart, to be told it is ready.

Nor called at 8:01am when I just got to sleep after 5am.

Today pushed me over the edge and have been trying to call to get my number removed, only to be met with no answers: 'Currently assisting other customers...' for over 12 minutes.

I seriously wish Rite Aid had a drive thru on this side of town!

To those here who work at CVS, why not just ask the customer (when they turn in their prescription slip or pickup their phoned-in meds) whether they want the phone call reminders? Seems the solution is obvious and very simple!

There are the same amount of people who complain that we did not call them to remind them they had refills.

Yes but this complaint is about too many calls...once is enough they do not need to call you 10 times a day.

The system is automated. So you will get the number of calls that coincide with the number of fills you have ready. If you have two scripts, you get two calls.

Guest

Quit filling your prescriptions at cvs, tell them to take your phone off the system. Kick them where it hurts.

:( I've been staying with my mom the last couple of months and she gets these annoying CVS notification calls 8 in the MORNING & SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK!!! She can't get them to stop these calls and she told me that she's been dealing with this for at least one year.

Guest

Yep, it is as simple as calling that number above; thanks LOL. When prompted, say "Call" and you'll be taken to an agent who will kindly remove your number.

Guest

Please call corporate and tell them that. We hate making those calls and they force us to do them.

Guest

We are forced to make these calls by corporate. The computer registers each of the calls and we are required to make at least 2 attempts.

If we don't make all calls on the list we get written up.

Corporate doesn't care when we try to tell them the customers don't like it. It is a lose lose situation for customers and employees.

Coorporate makes us call you or its our jobs. Its the bottom line..so take your stuff off automatic refill and call 1 800 shop cvs to stop it. We HAVE to have your phone number in case of issues with your prescriptions so we cant change it.

Guest

Easy as 1,2,3...call 1-800-shopcvs and ask to be put on the do not call list. And the phone calls go bye bye..
