I use coupons. I work hard to make my deals.

After spending an hour in the store at San Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers, FL, I checked out. First coupon..beep! She tried it twice more, doing nothing different. Manager, Vickie Kolodzik, tries.

Says, "computer won't take it." I read the coupon. She reads the coupon. Agrees I bought the correct items. Still says, "I can't take it if the computer won't." Another item.

Same thing. I'm getting agitated. It's not my first rodeo with her. I finally left empty-handed in exasperation.

Left a 25% off coupon expiring today behind. Not my problem that some knucklehead making a big salary can't program the computer correctly.

This manager apparently has no autonomy, no authority, to make things RIGHT when the coupon is correct for the item. She has the critical thinking skills of a rock and the personality of a slug.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $30.

Preferred solution: Hire someone who can PROPERLY program computers for coupon redemption. Give managers more authority to make things RIGHT! Perform a background investigation on people you put in charge of your stores. Like this one..

CVS Pharmacy Cons: Vickie kolodzik and the moron in charge of computer program, Unprofessional incompetance.

Location: 15880 San Carlos Blvd, Ft Myers, FL 33908, USA

OR how about you don't buy garbage that you don't need "because you have a coupon"? Your wasting more money buying something you don't need because "It was on sale". I worked retail and hated people like you.

Hi there! I work for CVS and...

it sounds like these folks didn't know what they were doing. Speaking from experience, the company likes to throw a bunch of training modules on you at once, especially when you first start out, they are incredibly long/dense, and most of that information is not retained - we end up learning how to handle lots of things "on the job," so to speak.

If a manufacturer coupon isn't scanning/the register doesn't recognize the barcode (which happens occasionally), there is a way for us to enter it as a generic manufacturer coupon where we input the $$ it's for. This is one way for us to get around those odd barcodes that aren't recognized by the register. The people at the store level don't have any control over what barcodes are programmed into the register, unfortunately.

DO call 1-800-SHOP-CVS (corporate) and tell them what happened.

See that they reimburse you your $30.

Corporate tends to be good about things like that. The message will get passed down to the store's manager and they will be told how they should have handled the situation.

Hope this helped.
