CVS Pharmacy - Most recent Return policy?
Why are the stores so uptight about their refund and coupon policies nowadays? I am concerned from when I made purchases using some coupons and then when I had forgotten to use one, the only way to get it redeem was do a refund and repurchase it.
But a lot of the times, CVS staff doesn't know how to return the value in normal payment and coupons onto store credit as they have been doing but is looking to change at this point. They immediately think they should refund without a receipt. I've gotten many recommendations to use my ID whenever situations like these happen (because it becomes easier for them but not for me). Now with the new return policy especially non-receipted, I am becoming flagged for returns that I had receipts for all along.
And for if there comes a time that I ever do need to make a return without a receipt because I actually don't have one, I will be denied because of my previous returns that should've been process with the receipts in the first place. I don't know how long I'd be flagged for but I think it's for at least a year.
Now when I shop there, I have to take big precaution - making sure all of my coupons went through in that point of sale and of course, making sure I am absolutely keeping the items as well as making sure items aren't damaged or expired. I always see an item expired at every store.

You can probably thank other customers for their most recent return policy.
So probably your complaint is with the other customers since their actions cause return policies to change.
